Rooming accommodation agreements

What is a rooming accommodation agreement?

The residential service agreement is the agreement the service provider reaches with a resident that covers the residents stay in the service. The agreement covers things like the amount of rent, when it is to be paid and the rules for residents. Under the Residential Services (Accommodation) Act 2002 the residential service agreement must be in writing. The RTA provides a recommended standard agreement form which can be used. For more information refer to the Residential Service Agreements Fact Sheet.
