Important information to consider

Due to the recent changes to Queensland Local Government Areas, the presentation of the median weekly rents, where amalgamated Local Government Areas are involved have changed. For example: The Beaudesert region was previously reported in the Brisbane Statistical Division (excluding the Brisbane LGA) spreadsheet or pdfs. However, the Beaudesert region is now reported in the Scenic Rim Regional Council area. This can now be found in the Gold Coast and Scenic Rim median weekly rent spreadsheet or pdfs. This does not mean that the area has changed region. You should check the old region first.

Historical data (median weekly rents before the June 2008 quarter) for the new Local Government City Council and new Regional Council areas has not been reported as this data is not available. Where the council boundaries did not change significantly historical data has been reported. This does not effect data at the postcode level.
