Using Adobe Reader
Adobe Reader is required to open and print PDF files. Adobe Reader version 5 or above is required to allow the forms to be filled in electronically. Releases 7.07 and 7.08 of version 7 do not allow saving and reusing of forms.
For full usability, the RTA recommends the latest version of Adobe Reader be downloaded. Adobe Reader can be downloaded for
free from the
Adobe website where installation instructions are also available.
Entering data into a form
The RTA has developed all forms as fillable Portable Document Format (PDF) files. All information can be typed into the relevant fields and saved for future use.
Printing issues
If text at the top, bottom or side of the form is missing, the form can be made to fit to a single page by selecting the "shrink to fit" option on the print dialogue box in Adobe Reader.
If the orientation of a form is incorrect when printed, it may be due to incorrect printer settings. This can be fixed by selecting:
- file > print setup
- portrait or landscape (depending on the document's required orientation
- ok.
Submitting a form to the RTA
Forms must be posted to the RTA as the original signatures are required. The dispute resolution request (form 16/R16) can be faxed to (07) 3361 3688.
