Congratulations to the Caravan Parks Association of Queensland (CPAQ) on their 50 years of service to the caravan park industry.
The golden anniversary was celebrated in style with a black tie dinner on Saturday during the CPAQ annual state conference held at Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast from 8-10 November.
The RTA had an information stand at the conference where Senior Community Education Officer Allen Munck assisted many caravan park managers with various issues.
Mr Munck also spoke at a session focussing on new caravan park managers.
"Our message to park managers, whether they’re new to the industry or have many years' experience, is that the RTA is here to help," Mr Munck said.
"A caravan park manager's job is to run a successful caravan park and to be aware of the basic rules that apply to the industry.
"Our role at the RTA is to be there to help guide park managers in relation to all issues that concern the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008," he said.
