Media enquiries are prioritised during business hours between 8:30am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). Intermittent monitoring occurs outside of these hours.

The RTA is responsible for administering the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008, which includes educating Queensland’s rental sector on their rights on responsibilities under the Act. Due to privacy, we are unable to comment on individual cases.
