Equity and Diversity Action Plan 2026–27
The purpose of this action plan is to ensure all RTA employees have access to equal pay and opportunities – regardless of gender, disability or culturally and linguistically diverse background – and that the RTA continues to provide a workspace that is inclusive, representative, and psychologically safe.
Multicultural policy and action plan
The Queensland Government has developed a multicultural policy and action plan. This will help promote Queensland as a united, harmonious and inclusive community and foster an environment of opportunity for people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

Regulatory Performance Framework report
The RTA is committed to publicly reporting annually on our regulatory performance, including demonstrating the extent we are translating the model practices into business practices and outlining plans for future improvements.
Stakeholder Engagement Framework
The RTA's Stakeholder Engagement Framework has been developed in consultation with stakeholders from across the rental sector. It sets out the engagement principles and approach that the RTA uses to improve service delivery and drive positive outcomes and experiences for customers.
Statement of Expectations and Statement of Intent
The Statement of Expectations is issued to the Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA) by the Minister for Housing and Public Works. It applies until 31 October 2028 and provides clarity on the Queensland Government’s expectations and priorities for how the RTA will administer its legislated functions as a statutory body.
