Be scam aware: Any official RTA electronic correspondence will always come from an @rta.qld.gov.au email address. The RTA will only ask you to provide your details by completing an approved RTA form via RTA Web Services or a paper RTA Update your details form. If you have concerns you are not dealing with an authorised RTA officer, hang up/do not respond and contact the RTA directly.


This form can be used by organisations that are a managing party or tenant, and joint lessors to check if they are owed any outstanding bond monies by the RTA.

Individuals who are tenants/residents or property managers/owners should use the Individuals - outstanding bond payments form.

Completing the web form below is just one of the ways you can check if any outstanding bond monies are owed to you. Learn more about the options for checking if you have an outstanding bond.

To avoid any delays in processing your request, you will need to provide the RTA with at least 3 pieces of information about your organisation/joint lessor agreement and current/previous rental properties using the fields below. This will help us to verify your organisation/joint lessor details in our system and assess if any outstanding bond payments are linked to the details provided.

Most online form enquiries will be processed within 2 weeks (14 days). This can take longer if your application is not complete and we need to collect additional information to help process your request.
