The Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008 (the Act) lists the rules for renting a place to live in Queensland. It gives specific rules for residents and provider/agents involved in renting rooming accommodation, such as boarding houses, supported accommodation and off-campus student accommodation.

A Rooming accommodation agreement (Form R18) is the agreement between a resident and a provider which sets out the terms that apply to a resident’s stay in rooming accommodation such as boarding houses, supported accommodation services, off-campus student accommodation and other rooming style accommodation.

The Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008 (the Act) lists the rights and responsibilities of people living in, and operating, rooming accommodation such as boarding houses, hostels, and off-campus student accommodation. 

Residents with impaired capacity who rent rooms in rooming accommodation are covered by the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008 (the Act). 

The Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008 (the Act) provides rules for collecting rental bonds in rooming accommodation, such as boarding houses, hostels, and on and off-campus student accommodation in Queensland. 

Rent payments for rooming accommodation in Queensland are covered by the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008 (the Act).

There are specific rules to follow for provider to remove a resident living in rooming accommodation such as a boarding house, supported accommodation, or off-campus student accommodation.
